At one of the car shows I attended a few months ago, I met a gentlemen (and for the life of me, I can’t remember his name! Argh!) with this beauty that you see here.  He had told me that he was originally from California and built the car while he was there. While he was enlisted and traveling around, he had to keep the poor thing in storage, but luckily it didn’t need much to get it back on the road.  The day he brought this car to the show, was maybe the 3rd time he had brought it out of hiding so that he could hopefully meet some other enthusiasts.  Definite head turner and these impalas definitely hold a special place within me….the style…the story, its history…just everything about it, to me, is just beautiful.  Ha ha…One day maybe!
